  1. About Golgotha
  2.  
  3.      Golgotha is a special Halloween offering from Ragnarok's
  4. Scriptorium Font Library.  It has that special morbid feel that
  5. so many people are looking for this time of year.  This version
  6. of Golgotha contains only the 26 capital letters without any
  7. punctuation or special characters.  The complete version of the
  8. font is ONLY available on our 3rd font sampler disk #SFL1003.
  9.      Golgotha is distributed as shareware as part of a promotion
  10. for the Scriptorium Font Library. If you use Golgotha you are obligated to register it in one
  11. of two ways.
  12.      To register the font you may pay a $5 registration fee to
  13. Ragnarok and think no more about it, but we offer a better deal.
  14. Instead you can order Sampler Disk #3 with the full character
  15. set of Golgotha on it for $15.  The later option is the best deal
  16. because you'll get a whole disk of legitimate, registered fonts
  17. for a very low price.
  18.      If for some reason you wish to distribute this font as part
  19. of a shareware collection or package, please contact us first at
  20. the address (netmail or US Mail) or phone number given below.
  21.      The rest of this is our standard catalog.  If you like this
  22. font you'll love some of the hundred-plus other fonts in the

  26. The Scriptorium Font Library

  28.      The Scriptorium Font Library is a collection of fonts
  29. designed by Dave Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in their
  30. publications.  These fonts have now been made available by
  31. mailorder direct from Ragnarok.
  32.      Provided here is an up to date listing of all the font disks
  33. available at this time.  Each disk includes as many fonts as we
  34. can fit on it.  They are fully registered when you purchase the
  35. disk.

  37. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  38.      This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3 calligraphic fonts, 3
  39. display fonts and 3 specialty fonts taken from our original
  40. series of font disks.  It includes our very popular Taranis font
  41. as well as the new Fabliaux font, the medieval calligraphic fonts
  42. Bastarda and Courthand, plus two fonts from the Ysgarth
  43. role-playing game and the uniquely mystical Goetic font based on
  44. 18th century magical scripts.  $15.  Update $5.

  46. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  47.      This contains a new variety selection of fonts, including
  48. text, display, decorative and calligraphic fonts taken mostly
  49. from our second series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  52.      This contains a selection of our newest fonts, particularly
  53. art, decorative and calligraphic fonts, including our morbid font
  54. Golgotha which is not available on any other disk.  $15.  Update

  57. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  58.      This contains 10 unique serif and sans-serif fonts which
  59. meet the high resolution demands of all text uses.  The
  60. collection includes some elegant traditional fonts (both serif
  61. and sans-serif) like our Tancred and Palomides fonts, plus some
  62. very unusual offerings like the Kelmscott font based on William
  63. Morris' Troy font from the Kelmscott edition of Chaucer's works.

  66. SFL-2002: More Text Fonts
  67.      A collection of sophisticated and flexible text fonts based
  68. on classic styles and on modern designs.  Includes 6 serif fonts
  69. and 6 sans serif fonts.  Available in the Fall of 1993.  $15.

  72. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  73.      This disk features 10 attractive display fonts, including
  74. several art nouveau and medieval styles, plus a couple of unusual
  75. special use fonts.  Our favorites are the Starfield font, which
  76. looks like a scattered field of stars, the Buccaneer font, drawn
  77. from 17th century wanted posters and the Ariosto and Elysian
  78. fonts based on hand drawn fonts of the Munich Jugendstil movement
  79. of the 1890s.  Because these are display fonts they may not all
  80. include both upper and lower case letters, but they include all
  81. characters which are available and we will expand many of the
  82. character sets as we continue to work with them.  $15.  Update

  85. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  86.      This disk features 12 new display fonts, including a number
  87. of interesting Art Nouveau and early modern book plate styles,
  88. such as Beaumarchais, Averoigne and Cymbeline.  $15.  Update $5.

  90. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  91.      This disk includes a variety of calligraphic fonts,
  92. including several Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on medieval and
  93. renaissance calligraphy and calligraphy from several 19th century
  94. art nouveau designers.   Because these are based on genuine
  95. calligraphy they may not include all the characters you may
  96. expect and may include specialty characters or strange alternate
  97. forms for some letters.  $15.  Update $5.

  99. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  100.      This disk includes a variety of medieval English, French and
  101. Italian lettering styles plus several Eastern European styles and
  102. a special font based on the calligraphy of Howard Pyle.  This
  103. disk is now available. $15.  Update $5.

  105. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  106.      A collection of fonts for languages which don't use the
  107. English alphabet, including both obscure real world and
  108. historical languages and role-playing game world languages.
  109. Check out the Bahairic and Futhark fonts if you want something
  110. really different.  Oh, and did you say you were going mad because
  111. you couldn't decorate your computer-generated icons without
  112. Church Slavonic?  Well, try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but
  113. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.  Update $5.

  115. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  116.      A special assortment of art fonts where each letter is a
  117. decorative initial or small picture.  It includes several
  118. illuminated manuscript alphabets, the extremely intricate Maidens
  119. font and some Art Nouveau floral motifs.  Because of the detail
  120. of these decorative initials only 5 fonts are presented on this
  121. disk, but they are well worth it.  $15.  Update $5.

  123. SFL - 6002: More Decorative Fonts
  124.      This collection of decorative fonts includes some medieval
  125. classics and some very detailed 19th century fonts, as well as
  126. decroative initials based on the works of Howard Pyle and John D.
  127. Batten.  Because of the intricacy of these fonts only 6 fonts are
  128. presented on this disk.  $15.  Update $5.

  130. SFL - 7001: Art Fonts
  131.      This is a collection of illustrations in font form,
  132. including animals, heraldic shields, celtic spirals, arthurian
  133. miniatures, floral embellishments and more.  These fonts are
  134. intricate so onlyeight could fit on the disk.  $15.  Update $5.

  136. SFL - 8001: Runic Fonts
  137.         A collection of runic fonts, including Scandinavian
  138. runes, Celtic Ogham script and early medieval alphabets from
  139. northern Europe.  Available Fall of 1993.  $15.

  142. UPDATE POLICY
  143.      Each of our font disks is updated with new versions at least
  144. once every three months, with updates being released on the first
  145. of January, April, July and October.  If you send in your
  146. original disk and $5 we will update you with the latest versions
  147. of all the fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts are brand new,
  148. so expect pretty substantial changes with some of the updates
  149. over the next year or so.

  151. SHAREWARE NOTE
  152.      Support shareware.  Many of our fonts are distributed as
  153. shareware for promotional purposes.  If you see our fonts being
  154. circulated as unregistered copies (without our shareware notice),
  155. let us know...or let the culprit know that you dont' approve.
  156. These fonts are too damned cheap for anyone NOT to pay their
  157. shareware fee or order them on disk.
